| +1 on the nice weld. Looks like you prepped well. That's what I always heard. Looks good. EDIT: I just realized the clean removal of the pulley from the hub. Sweet! | |

| Looks like some good penetration on those welds. I moved up from flux to stick and I like it better, no annoying triggers or cables that you have to worry about bending. | |

| Nice work man. Interesting how you are mimicking a wheel horse frame. I think you can incorporate your seat and fender mount into your trans mounting plate too. | |

| Looking good! Yeah I don't like the wide hood either. You should find an old dynamark 1036 hood, they are narrow at the back and widens towards the front with cool headlights. Got fenders? | |

| I got the hood and grill narrowed up today. Its a little wider than the grill because I noticed after I did one side that the hood was mounted to the dash off to one side about 1 1/2". Next I will add some sheet metal to the sides of the grill . All in all I think this is a improvement . | |

| Got some more done on project murr-horse today. That's what the wife calls it. I never planed on all this body work but that's usually how my projects go. Today I added sides to the grill. There where folds on the sides of the grill so I kept those adds to a factory look. Most of this murray was folded and spot welded. Other thing I did was start to shape and clean up the sides of the dash. For headlights I will go with some round ones and place them much like a ford 8n tractor | |

| Youre doing good work on this. Question though, will you be using the original mounting point on the transaxle right above the axles? If you can tie those into the frame I think that would be a good thing. | |

| I will be looking at trying to use those mounts when I'm further along in the build. I'm still not sure if I will be using a pan style seat or a riding mower seat. Also im still unsure of the rear fenders. Today I started to work on and mock up the front end and its looking a little long. Rear tires are 25" front are 19" and I have a 48 1/2 wheelbase. I'm thinking I'm a little long from seat to where the dash start but when sitting on it it feels good. Any opinions would be appreciated. | |
