| Hey so after I finally figured out how to do this right I figured I'd try it again! I am entering a 1989 lawnboy that has a 12 hp briggs flathead and a peerless 900 4 speed trans I am pully swapping it to a 5" in the rear x tracks in the front and bear claws in the rear when I get the money! Also a rear rack and bumper will be put on pulse a front bumper whith a winch mount! LED lights will be replacing the old stock lights to I will be painting the motor orange and black. The body WILL stay the original green whith the original stickers! A doc lock will be installed(or at least i think a doc lock)i might add some frsmr bracing to but this frame is dam heavy so it shouldnt bend at ALL! This was a good find csnt beat it for 100 bucks and its all there no rust no nothing! If you ask me this is a sexy mower and can't wait to see other builds to! -Approved by Doug, 2/2/2018 -Update Alert by MightyRaze 5/2/2018

| Eh, close enough. Would prefer a longer and more explained list of work to be done, but thats enough for now. Maybe edit it in later.

I'd recommend a front pulley swap too, or instead of the rear. If you don't want to go super fast, I'd swap the front and keep the stock rear pulley. The bigger the pulley is, the better. Small pulleys, such as the front one, will slip really bad in the mud (trust me, I know, lol). Even a Doc Lock would be hard on the tranny with those Bear Claws. You'll end up breaking gears from the torque. I'd use the bear claws and leave it open. I run Mud Lites, which are pretty similar to bear claws, and I have an open diff and it performs awesome, the open diff definitely doesn't give it a handicap and also gives it a good turn radius. Even if I wasn't afraid of busting gears, I wouldn't run something as aggressive as Bear Claws. When you turn on a locked diff, the inner tire has to slip. Something as aggressive as Bear Claws don't slip very easily, which means you would have a terrible turn radius and put a lot of stress on the locker and on input pulley gears. Those are just my thoughts, just want to make sure you don't break something, and it performs great and reliably for you! | |

| Should be cool, don't see these Lawn Boy LT's being built up very often. The only one I can think of at the moment is Doc's MULE that he had, so I'm interested to see yours take shape. Good luck! | With aggressive tires. A Doc lock with one piece axle would be the way to go with the stress and it's not fool proof. Not a welded diff gears. | |

| Hey Build-off Participant! Just doing a sanity check to see if there are any new updates! "Nothing new to update." is and update! Just making sure everything is OK since you have not posted in a while.
Thanks! ATLTF Administration
