That gear ratio looks a lil sketch, but to each his own. You could probably just put a dirt bike carb and throttle assembly on the engine, although just using stock carb would be cheaper.

You can get a cheap CVT off of ebay, the backing plate should bolt right on to that engine.
I think that would be something to plan to get.

Still going to be upwards of 100$ that I don't really want to spend on this project.
