Well got the drill bits. Pretty good for 22 bucks. Not perfect but still did the job . I need to sand the insides of the carrier still as it is pretty tight even on each separate hub. But the drill but slides through easy so I think it might be slightly under 1 inch but not by much. Gears mesh fine and do not bind and no visible or measurable off set ect.lesson learned, don't handle slippery bull gears when your barefoot in the garage. I have some nice teeth marks on my foot now

So how does the solid axle connect to the diff carrier?

I used to wear skateboard shoes in the shop but I wear steel toe boots exclusively.

Yikes, I bet that made for some colourful shop language, hahaha. Transaxle looks pretty good, should be nice when you get it all put back together and mounted up.

the axle is not connected to the carrier yet, thats tomorrows plan hopefully. then reassembly and mounting, then TESTING!!!!!!

Well didn't end up finding any 3/4" plate to use on my locker but did roll the mower out from being the shed and swapped the front  tires for one's that held air and look a bit more mean. It still needs front end suspension to take some strain off of the tranny as the frame flexes about 1/8" if even any so there's a lot of torque on the axle mounts.

No explanation needed.now I just need to figure out a case vent.

Well in a way it is, I just put small junk welds on that side to tack it in place and then ground them down so my spacer fit, the crack is actually just the weld bead that didn't get a good center. The rest of the welds were welded, grpu d smooth, welded, then welded again for maximum strength . It was the middle welds I focused on the most.
All back together and spinning smoothly now.! Had to make some spacers for the tranny as the input was about 3/4" longer than the 930 was . The stance is killer tho, I need to get some angle steel to make some pillow block holders for the axle supports and hook up a shifter and brakes. The front mounts were made to fit with some heating and bending then welding. Those puppies aren't coming off! What do y'all think? Test drive later today if I get the axle supports on.

On another very, very sad note. It has rained another 2 inches overnight and every single freaking creek is over flowing and the mud is Insane everywhere. I have a hankering to go get the Murray out and weld on some hubs so I can got on some atv tires and go deep water exoring.

Did it. Drowned it. Left it. That's all there is too it.

Good to see the LT out in the mud again. That front end is really wide, and I agree with Carl, it does look like a quad and I like it!

Handles like a dream! Max speed is around 20mph. Which for a mudder is plenty high and I don't expect to ever use 5th gear except for driving to the mud lol.

Those axle bearing supports look pretty good! Should hold up well I would think.

Very nice. Those big tires up front slow you down in the mud or help you stay above?

They seem to not push the mud at all, not really noticed any difference from the skinny ones. I do plan on putting on 12 inch rear rims and getting some new mud tires for it , maybe executioners or something with deeper tread mabye.
