I haven't been on in a while but the other day I got the sears out and when I put it back in the garage, the tranny was leaking fluid out the axle end. Since I'm going to have to replace the axle seals (does anybody know where to get the part #) on it, I might as well lock it while I'm at it. So, this will be a thread on how to (or how not to) lock a Peerless 1200. It might take a while with school going on.

You could do the fozzy locker method(weld the spaces in between the gears), or the Doc Locker 820. Peerless 820, 1200, and 2300 and many other models share the same differential, so the Doc locker 820 method will work for your transaxle.
