Ugh.... this is going to take forever!

Really sucks about your pics mighty, at least ya got a good amount of time before the Build-Off ends. Technology is a bugger somtimes...

Its not technologys fault, its Photobucket holding images hostage. Its basically ransomware.

I wonder how many other pictures on the site are broken now.

I'm about 3/4 the way through the thread. I was one of the luckier ones. I was able to download all my images before I deleted my account. I've read where some that had "PAID" accounts for the extra space, they can't get to their images till they pay up.

Yup! I seen on their facebook yesterday there are several starting to pool together to start a class action against them.

Well, I did it.  I got all the images in this thread up to date on serverimg ATLTF's host.  I figure it was best for a build-off thread.  There are some quoted posts by others with bad image links.  I have pointed out the who and what with code to fix below for those people or an Admin to come along and update.

Other news...

I am working on a video for the completion.  While filming, I had a minor mishap going as fast as I could and when I hit a downhill grade, I hit the brake and threw my belt.  I think I was hitting about 25 and when I took my foot out of it, the transaxle tried to run the belt and threw it.  Well, in a hurry to get off the side of the road, I routed my belt over the belt stopper on the clutch pulleys and burned the belt pretty bad.  It stretched the belt about 3 inches and ground off the bottom half of the V.  HAHA, won't stay on now.  For future riding I will need to get another belt.

I hope to have the video up tonight. Until then. Although I have completed what I wanted, I had a couple more ideas this week. I guess I'll be like Mr.Modified and finish early then change stuff as time goes along. If so, I'll keep updating and make a new video!

I'll take this moment to share the new thoughts for the build. Nothing extreme as Mr.modified finishing the baja sears then tearing it all apart to redo half it. LOL

• Still like to wrap the exhaust

• Breather for the valve-cover tube

• New belt. I shredded the other by routing it over the stopper on accident

• Maybe something to clean up and pretty the back over the hitch plate

Yeah since the skinny fronts don't grip enough to keep it in one place. LOL Need a belt too, but I am concentrating tractor fundage to Li'l Red right now.

Wait? I think I do have a belt for it. The one I was throwing, but now figured out why! I may look into that tomorrow.

Do you have a wobbly pulley? Thats the reason the MTD kept throwing the belt off the trans pulley.

My goodness it's hot outside here. 99 degrees with an index around 105 at my house. Just 20 miles away in OKC they are much cooler at around 93-94. LOL I need to figure out how to install a portable unit I have in the shed to cool the garage. Need some straps and hang it in the door!

found my smaller belt and rode it around a bit today!  Quite a fun ride once I was able to get it in gear!  I'll post a pic of the toasted belt when I think of it.

Heat sucks! I'd rather it be 20 than 90! But I'm a New Yorker, we had winter 6 months of the year lol. I was wondering, can you shift that trans on the go at all? Like very meticulously revmatch it and just gently work it into gear? Even on my dad's two cylinder John Deeres with non-synchronized trans you can go 4-5-6 easy enough, with a hand throttle and clutch.

Yeah I got my engine pulley a bit hot trying to weld on the hub so it has a very small wobble. Probably is the reason for the throwing.

Not really. It's more of a grind it till you find it. I'll get the right size again soon, in the mean time, it's wheelie poppin to get going. LOL. I should have separated the brake from the clutch so I could shift on the fly. Once I get Red back together, I'll look into that. Since the hand brake didn't go as planned for burnouts, maybe hook the rear brake up too.

I know I am done for the most part, but I am taking next week off from most everything. Going to enjoy some much needed time off next week. I may pop in at night from the phone time to time. We'll see. I do have a couple more ideas for Sasquatch that may require some minor tear-down and re-configuring.

I got a new belt today. This is my first try. I let my tires get too warm to try 3rd gear.
