My pictures upload sideways. How do I fix this?

I have noticed a lot of sideways pictures being uploaded lately, myself included. For some reason, even though my images were upright on my computer, SERVIMG would upload them sideways.

Well, after some searching I found out why. Apparently images have 2 different orientation tags, and SERVIMG uses the one that takes the image at face value and not what it should be shown/ uploaded as. Even after rotating the image, it may not save the image as needing to be uploaded that way.

Luckily there is a program that automatically fixes all of that. Once downloaded, you can right-click a folder and have it autorotate all images so they show the correct way AND overwrite the tags so the picture uploads in the correct orientation.

I never have had this problem but I notice that there are a few members' pictures uploaded sideways. Maybe it's to do with the way you take the picture or something?
