| Weellll... A guy at my school had a '97 S10, and he was always bragging about how it was a standard. And he is no longer in possession of said vehicle. Someone stole it from his driveway. | Yah, Junk 5 speeds in them, LOL. When you dump the clutch too many times, you bust the bearing clips in the main input shaft that holds the gears. When this happens, it still works but you have to hold the shifter in first gear, if you let go it will pop out of first, LOL. | |

| Yeah I'm not really sure about the motor, He told me it was a 6 but it could've been a 4, haha. To be fair he didn't really seem like he knew his stuff. | It probably got stolen because he bragged about it so much. I hate it when people who dont really know their stuff act like they know everything. I had a kid in shop class try to lecture me on small engines who was like that, ended up showing him up in front of the entire class. Not saying i know everything, just more than him | |

| There was a kid bragging about his bada$$ truck. he was going on and on...to be honest i tuned him out because as soon as he started talking i could tell his a$$ was getting jealous of the sh*t coming out of his mouth...But he was talking about this chevy truck. Im suprised he knew what kind of truck it was, the way he was talking. All it is is a 1500 with some body work and a stack in the bed. Hes like "ooh man this thing is so coool." So basically the redneck version of one of those guys who use the fart can mufflers on their ricers. except his was a 6 inch wide stack in the bed of a 1500 bad bow tie. Tbh, it sounded pretty nice, and i gotta give him credit for driving a standard, even if it was to be cool. He didnt know how to drive it though, almost killed it, then almost hit 2 people going outta the parking lot. you could hear him grinding gears all the way down the road... | |

| Most of the kids at my school talk about how turbochargers and standard transmissions are cool in cars, but I bet they couldn't even explain the four cycles of a four stroke engine. And they don't seem to know much about classics, one kid told me his dream car was a 1950 Mustang. I was like, sorry dude but the Mustang didn't come out until '64. | Eh, i like a stack on a truck, but it has to be done right. Like an exhaust on a Honda, there have to be supporting mods to make it worth it. A stock truck with a stack fits into the ricer category. A guy at my school has a 2008 f350 with the 6.4 diesel. he can't seem to make up his mind about the exhaust, it goes from an axle dump to a stack just about every week lol. But its a bads$$ truck. His younger brother claims 650 whp and being the nature of a diesel, i can see that. | |

Why? because i like stacks? eh, its all personal preference. i just don't like all stacks. it can't be a hack job. I've seen em on gassers too. there is a delivery truck in my town, its a white gas chevy from the 90s. leveling kit, slightly bigger tires, nerf bars in the back, and dual stacks. it always has a trailer since the bed is basically worthless now. it has the bar that loops up and over in the front, then the two bars going back to the back of the bed as supports. looks pretty cool honestly, and sounds good, but utterly useless.

| Talking about stacks and tailpipes, LOL. I like a good side pipe any day. The exit has to be just after the door or under the rear door, in front if the tire. I'd say Cherry Bomb for the muffler, but a Flowmaster works, couldn't decide so I put on a Cherry Bomb with my own muffler, LOL. Check it out. Yes, it's duel exhaust, and yes, it's my daily drive even with all the rust, LOL. And Yes, I have the supporting mods to back it up, 300 hp worth. | |

- Now thats what I call a sleeper! What engine/transmission/axle ratio does it have?
I don't know about sleeping with this thing running, I'm usually waking everybody up in the morning to go to work, LOL. Drive line is all factory. 360 AMC motor, 727 trans, axles have 3.50 gears in them. A Hoot to drive, LOL. Had this thing for about 17 years. Was given to me because engine caught on fire. since then I think I rebuilt the thing twice over from the frame up, to bad my body work SUCKS, LOL. Motor mods are- stage 2 race ported heads, custom HEI ignition, Edelbrock cam (almost 270 on the grind, about 3 steps above stock), Edelbrock aluminum 4 barrel intake, Q-jet 750 carb, 8.5 to 1 compression, water injection for a little boost (still need to finish tuning this in), LOL. Plus other engine mods not mentioned. Trans mod is just a shift kit, chirps the wheels going into second and third at full throttle. Transfer case has that quadratrack system in it, case is like twice as big as a regular transfer case. Stock axles, probably has posi in the rear but is probably burnt up by now, LOL. But will still burn both tires off the rims. This thing has alot of low end torque, fun to play with that. Highway I'm hitting 3 grand on the tach to do 60 mph, no need to downshift to pass someone, I just stab the gas a little and I'm past them. Power band is from 2000 to 3500 rpm, real streetable motor for some midnight fun, LOL. But funny thing is I never raced anybody yet in it. Nobody wanted to race me, LOL, the chickens. It being 4 wheel drive, here in Cleveland, had bad snow days up to 2 feet of snow on the streets and in 4 wheel drive I drove through it with no problems.

| Nice ride! Not too often you see a ported, cammed out, four barrel Jeep around here. I'm not very familiar with AMC motors, is a 360 a small block? | Just one kind of block for AMC. Engine size for V8's range from 304 ,360, and 403 I think. I guess you can say it's a small block, but more like a heavy duty small block. | |
