| Superior something alright... So, this transaxle... the input spins. Gear shift moves, axles are froze. Looks like someone was starting to spit it open... Its been sitting like this for YEARS. I can get it... but uhh... is it worth it? | |

| Oooh! A Peerless 600! I say get it! I love those transaxles hahaha. Although it might be full of rust from being split open.... | Yeah, that was my thought... if there is still some grease in there, it might be salvageable. I might not try and save the axle shafts though.
I will look into AK. Just for you haha

| Actually those transaxles are oil filled. The axles could maybe just be froze because they're rusted to the axle sleeves. You should still get it, if it's bad just send it my way, hahaha "This'll either wake you up or put you to sleep forever!"- Red Green "Whatever you do you should do right, even if it's something wrong." - Hank Hill - MTD Off-Road Build - Ford LT 110 Off-Road Build - Craftsman GT 6000 Off-Road Build - Sears LT11 Rat Rod Build *2019 Build-Off Winner!* Garden Tractor Collection: Allis B-110 x2, 710, 716, & 410 - Wheel Horse 655, 953 & 500 Special - Case 444 - Bolens Versamatic, G10 & 1668 Diesel Swapped - Cub 106, 124 & 1000/149 Frankentractor - Ford 120, LGT 125 & 145 - White 1650 Yard Boss - Moto Mower 710-100 | |

| i have had one of those , the axle bearing seals aren't very good and they let water into the bearings on the axle shafts and rust them out , i had to trash mine cause i couldn't get bearings for it . if its salvageable then get it if its free but not very likely to be in good condition if it as left out like that | |

| well when you get it soak the axle shaft sleeves VERY well so the bearings might be saved, i pulled mine out without lubing them and they fell apart in a rusty mess | |

| Ok, so out a working fuel pump on the ST10. Even some new fuel lines... Even got it to fire up. But it runs like crap. Its missing, spitting smoke. Also noticed, its GUZZLING gas. Seriously burned up half a tank in less than 15 mins. Now, Im kinda lost... I need a refresher. There is an adjustment on the bottom of the bowl, and the usual on the side of the carb. The bottom is the amount of fuel going into the engine? The one on the side is air/fuel mixture? My throttle cable is frozen at full throttle. Maybe Ill try to upload a video so yall can see this garbage. | |

| I think for a Techumseh the screw on the bottom of the bowl is the main fuel adjustment needle. Sounds like it's running way too rich, so either you need to lean 'er out a bit or the choke is half stuck closed. Maybe check that before you mess with the carb too much. Take that from a guy who screwed around with the carburetor settings after his rat rod quit running, only to find out it was outta gas, hahaha. | Okay, yeah it's definitely running too rich then. | I couldnt believe it sucked up that much fuel in so little time.. No leaks that I could see... could it just be from misadjustment? | |

| Since this tractor has a fuel pump, I wonder if there is something going on with the needle and seat or your "float" has a pinhole leak, so it isn't floating anymore, and it won't close the needle valve. Maybe that would cause the fuel pump to pump gas in the airtake instead of the normal venturi operation. | |

| I'd say start by re-setting the main fuel needle and go from there. Hopefully that's the only issue. | Well the first thing I would do is drop the bowl and see what we’re working with. Pull the carb and clean what you can easily get to. Then look up a pdf and find the factory settings. That’ll get you in the ballpark.
Also, is it a magneto or a points setup? Timing could need a little work, but not necessarily the issue we have here
