Right gentlemen, let's get back on the topic

So been doing some looking around for bits and pieces, and have these 2 things on my shopping list.

The 820 idea probably will never come to fruition, because the tractor is not worth the £474.28, unless I manage to come across one second hand, but even they go for £200 plus around here.

The tyres however, I hope to be getting for Christmas, but we'll see. £82 doesn't seem too bad to be honest.

I should be getting the 12hp Flatty for free this weekend which is a bonus, hasn't run in at least 4 years though, and has lay outside under a tarp for most of that time.

Those tires are just like the ones I have! Hahaha

Yep, I have heard pretty good reviews on them. £82 isn't too bad for a set of 22x11x8, my Ags cost me £90 for the set, and they are 18x9x8.

Hi guys.
I have a decision to make. I'm pretty tight for space at the moment so I have resolved to get rid of one of my Westwoods (either the T1200 or this one, the S1200). I'm thinking on stripping the T1200 and putting the bodywork on this, while re doing the front suspension at the same time.

What are your thoughts?

That sucks. I hate getting rid of stuff. Try to keep as much off it as you can.

Yeah, although the one with more mods is often the most hassle. I like things to be simple, and I did the suspension to challenge myself. Btw, the suspension is real stiff, do you think I need to get the shocks at a steeper angle?

I have exams in January so I won't get much work done until Feb.

True, but it also has the most work into it. Easier to replace a lightly modified rig than a heavier modified rig.

Redline had soft suspension, but he didnt use coilovers (dunno how it is now). Ithink mr.moodifieds was pretty stiff. Just need more load on them to get it softer.

Yeah, I'm gonna completely redo the front end and make the square tubing section narrower to allow the shocks more of an angle.

Well, about time I updated this thread.

I decided to take this one down, because I haven't enough time/money/space to get it driving. I do have future plans to make it into a hotrod racing machine but that's for later.

I think you should put this one on the back burner instead of tearing 'er down. It has potential to be really cool! But it's your call man!.

Well I needed the space for my Go Kart project. I want to concentrate on some other projects this year and then re enter this mower into the build off in a few years time.

Ah I see. Well hopefully you get back to 'er someday. Cuz I'm really likin' it so far man!
