Hello.
Well been watching the forums for a while now so i just started posting.
Been slowly building this thing up for a few years now.
It came with a hydro in it but i changed that out to a 5 speed peerless last summer.
It was our grass cutter for 5 years around the yard. It ran amazing until all the bearings went in the mower deck.
We have since purchased a cheap john deere and have had not very good luck with it.
Anyways.
I drove it around a ton in its stock form with the deck removed for some time. Until i burned out the tranny.
When i got it for tinkering with it had around 500 hours on it. I will guess and say that it has at least 1000 on it currently.
It has a Kohler 20HP V-Twin and it is a awesome engine. Runs great and never complains. We have just done the standard regular maintenance and it has never put up a fight to this date.
A little after i put in the new tranny i stripped out the whole electrical system and started from scratch. I am using a  toggle switch for the kill switch and a keyed ignition for the fuel solenoid and starter. This sadly does have the fuel solenoid. Once it gives me trouble i will just take it out. But it is handy to have because you never have to worry about your carb being gummed up as it uses all the gas before it shuts off.

SO here are some pics. This was before i have painted it. It is currently mostly painted with a rubberized asphalt. The hood is done but i ran out of time and the body id not quite done.

And was how it sat all winter. The tractor on the left is my future project. Also a craftsman, Around the 80's

I am currently building a new clutch for it as i have completely messed up the stock clutch in doing clutch dumps and such. Big shout out to Fearless Front for giving me the idea. I have learned a lot from your channel and glad i have found it. I have watched literally every video twice and while i am trying not to copy you, This clutch idea was just perfect. So i will give credit were credit is due. SO head over to his channel and give him some support if you haven't already

And last but not least. Here is a video of the old beast starting up. I can also post videos of me doing the compression tests if anyone would like

Also, If you would like to take a peek at my YouTube channel i would greatly appreciate it

the compression looks great. most my engines only have 60-80 psi. and the two cylinders are supposed to be within 20% of each other, and yours are really close so I wouldn't worry about rebuilding the engine any time in the near future. Nice build!

Thanks. And i agree.
I won't be rebuilding it becouse it is running so great already. If i rebuild it ill screw something up i am sure haha.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the compression is.One is just 2 psi more then the other. Just 1.8% more
