I think I'll sit this one out. I got too much stuff going on. Still need to finish my tank and that will take a couple months atleast. Maybe 2017 for me.

Im new so I at least get one terrible question on here. What are the rules and guidelines to qualify in the Build off? and yes I searched the forums and didnt find much, thanks
On the homepage, go to "build off competition" then go to "2015 archives." The second topic down I believe is labeled "announcements" and has the rules and guidelines for last year. The rules haven't been made yet for this year but it's pretty safe to say they'll be close to what they were last year. I know I'll be entering for sure.

Once everything is set up, you'll submit your build and rough idea of what your going to do for approval. There will be instructions posted before hand.

I'm just waiting for this build off to start cause i just want to participate and have some fun with my build. And I want to see how I do compared to everyone else since I don't have some important stuff like I don't have a welder or a lot of money but we'll see how it goes

Count me in and is there a date yet because I don't know how much more I can keep my build under raps lol
Febuary 1st 2016
Things will be semi low tech at the modified garage this year. Some wheels should be on the way. Trying to decide on a rear engine or front engine configuration. Definitely going with simplicity though. Also, as usual, power by Briggs & Stratton...
I'd actually like to see more "low horsepower" tractors this year (I'll be doing one hopefully), because I believe you do not need much more than 8-10hp if you are just doing some general off-roading and not going too fast.

Started my pile outside the garage. lol. Its funny you say that bout lower horsepower engines. I have a 18 horse kawasaki engine but may go with a 10-12 hp briggs or so. I don't want alot of horsepower for this project don't think.

I will not say that much but my plan looks to be a ''never seen before'' badass mix of a 4x4 pulling tractor and rock crawler base on a naked probably strech massey fegurson lawn tractor frame with few homemade parts and snowblowerS engineS . Im also looking on a smaller and more conventional project I already have and doing nothing with a 10hp
