| Did you make that prop yourself too? Looks pretty much perfect. I see the prop now mounted in it's own bearings. A guy on youtube mentioned to me about the side thrust from the prop on the engine case which I didn't think of before. When are you gonna build a plane? You realize in the united states an ultra light doesn't require a pilots license if it's under a certain weight. Forget the particulars, but I think that's how it works. Obviously some areas you can't fly in and all that. I've gotta make an air powered bicycle! | |

| No ultralights for now, with aircraft you can't take shortcuts . Bearings are mostly for the reduction gearing to spin a bigger prop for more thrust w/ less HP (see Thrust vs. Horsepower chart below with different diameter prop thrust curves) Started on 6.5' maple prop ,biggest propeller to date! (about the same size as a Piper Cub) | |

| You could skin the aerosan deal with canvas or something to stay out of the cold. Looks almost like a dog sled frame. Neat three wheeler. | |
