| Nice! I like that you can still pull start that dynamark even though it has a electric starter. Very handy! And that old john deere! Thats some heavy metal right there! | |

| I dont like JD's either - theyre overpriced normal lawntractors - like the benz of tractors. Theres really nothing special about them or cubs - other then the paint must have gold in it or something- if someone gave me one or i found one cheep, maybe id get it ( when satan skates to work maybe) - ill stick with my MTD's, Murrays, Craftsmans n Dyamarks. | |

| I dont dislike John Deere tractores themselves. Just the fact they can charge a hellish amount more for a tractor when you can get an MTD branded of that does the same thing. You really are paying for a brand. I do love the old Deeres though, I'd love one! Might have found myself a Simplicity 1652 (or similar number, its a 16hp) Not sure yet, need to see more photos. I spotted it on an ebay listing for a Yardman ironically. Just say the edge of it in the photo, guy said he wasnt gonna sell but is open to offers now. Im hoping I can nab it, Simplicites are super rare in the UK!
You planning on turning either the Dynamark or the Deere into a mudding tractor?

| My freind back north has one- hes had more issues with that thing, from the hydro fan breaking off when he shifts in reverse to slowness issues- hes been tweeking it to run better. Also the PO mustve broke the cast front axle n replaced it with too narrow of an axle- my friend noticed the tires were rubbing/wearing on the chassis.
One time we drag raced in his backyard when i had my 84 dynamark over- i revved up , popped the clutch n wheelied across the yard leaving him in the dust - mine only had 3 gears. i was sitting almost taking a nap by the time he got to the end of the yard.
My folks neighbor has a 90's cub- its a nice tractor, but has had some issues - not to mention its a serious maintence hog- the deck fills with grass every time y mow ( top n bottom) - but the deck is like super heavy tho- so its built well. Not to mention its slow as well ( what my dad says) , but cuts really nice.

| Thats an oldie dynamark- is that a steel grille? All mine have the heavy plastic black grilles- my oldest is a 82 almost 90% original , including the paint, deck and blades.
I had one similar to yours - cept it was blue n white ( probably a rare richard petty blue edition) and was mostly stripped when i got it - had the biggest trans pulley ive ever seen on it- had to of been almost 18" . Also first one ive seen with a cigarette lighter from the factory ( had the sticker still) .

| Arild365 : Whoa - id tell your freind to leave it AS IS- dont mod that . Dynamarks did come with a bed option - one of the rarest options : This isnt mine- i found it online- wish it was tho. The other extremely rare options are : the richard petty blue paint and factory snowplow blades . | |

| THat bed could be pretty useful. You jsut dont get stuff liek that anymore. I relly like the hood and grill in your dynamark though man. Looks mean in black too.
We all have a tractor we wish we hadnt sold.
my Alko has a cig lighter, not original though. I put it where the amp meter used to go. Will be useful for powering accesories.

| I really like the grill on that thing! It sort of look like an old muscle car. That one with the bed is pretty neat too! I've never seen that before. I like the shape of the rear fenders, they look like they're made from some thick steel. I wonder if the rear end is the same as the others, or if they made it more heavy duty to haul more weight. | |

| I'd imagine the rear end would be build the same. Looks like someone has gotten good use from that thing though! Has the hard worked look nailed! | |

| Itd be neat to custom build one for a dynamark - if i could get enough heavier flat steel( and spare time), id build one for the 88 kleen kut or other dyanamark ( not my fav one). | |
