| well the oldest one i owned was an old 8hp briggs lawn scout, i took that thing everywhere, and i don't know what tranny it had but it was a 3 speed and i broke somthing in it too, i had to hold the whole shift rod and turn it, i don't know what broke but you couldn't shift by the nob, i miss that tractor, it got left behind in west verginia, and a the time i couldn't drive and get it but, i figure its long gone now but i got a new craftman tractor which used to have a 38in deck with a 11hp briggs, i got this thing for free cause the guy said the motor was locked up, i took it, and looked into it and all it was, was that the plastic starter gear was lodged in the flywheel teeth, but i unloged it and i still use the same gear, i don't know how he got it stuck, so i have a really good motor, change the oil every season but i might do that more often if my mower is a off road tractor now. | |

| My oldest tractor is about 82, not that old really.
My oldest motor is a 6hp horizontal shaft 1967 Briggs, with a sheered timing key, but I cant get that damn flywheel off to change it ):

| My oldest tractor is a 69 simplicity- i got free from some guy an hour north of where i live now- sat for 20 years in his barn, original 8HP briggs engine came in pieces ( which i still have) but i didnt want to mess with that, so i put a newer 10HP briggs on it- i did a cosmetic restore on it since this picture was taken: I sorta wish now id of left it alone..... The next oldest is a 69 raider 10 wheelhorse- also got for free: This thing is a total mess- besides having most its parts missing, it doesnt run ( no spark) - then found the trans doesnt have any input shaft berings - i had intended to possibly mild restore it, but its too far gone. Its going to be resurected as a future project- a super mod lawntractor- using a 03 bolens chassis and the wheelhorse sheetmetal- lowered and totally modifed. My next oldest is a 70 toro with a 5HP briggs that has electric start ( surprisingly) : This pic was when i used to take it mudding - put larger wheels on it - since then it went back almost to stock ( cept for another set of larger then stock wheels) - since i have 2 decks with it, i plan to make it back into a mower, altho ill need to modify a setup to engage the deck, since that part was missing. | |

| That Stallion is pretty unique. Never seen one like that before. I'd say its older than the yellow Murray. Again Memphis, the photos look good. | |

| Yellow one is at least an 80's ( or older) murray - if it has the original briggs ( if it came with it) the 1st 2 code numbers stamped into the flywheel cover are the date of the motor- gives you a ballpark figure for the year.
Stumped with the Stallion- looks like either a Toro, MTD or Dynamark product - id say probably in the late 70's or early 80's. Does it have its data tag still? Im sure a lawntractor parts place could decode it ( my local place gave me the info for my 95 MTD lowes machine- was missing its data tag)- wrote the numbers down n got a complete parts list for it.
Cool tractors. | |

| Sure is an odd one. I'd pretty much certainly say its not an MTD, but I may be wrong. It does have a Dynamark look about it. Perhaps before Dynamark was swallowed by a larger company or somehting like that. The way the chassis slops back like that remind me of a Sears | |

| The Stallion is a Poloron but I haven't found much about their tractors just their snowmobiles. The yellow still has the B&S in it, after a little googling seems the engine is from the late 70's, |

hey can you post more pics of them mowers? the yellow one kinda looks like an old murray or dynamark i had, kinda like 2 tractors in one ,, and the stallion looks like something i had too, i thought mine was a huffy . mine had a 8hp pull start briggs,a little tool box in the back , metal seat, had a round deck, single blade, the trans shift pattern was like a 4 corner square, with neutral in the middle. also had a tube frame around the motor, i always called it a roll cage , also the steering was wierd, there was a 17in strip of metal that went over the motor horizonitally, then bolted to the vertical shaft that went down under the frame. could it have been a huffy or is it like your stallion?

| Hey Memphis, that yellow one is the same body, front axle as my Craftsman/sears LT10. Hood is little different, and rear axle is different.
Oldest is massey 175, 1968, 60hp, 8,000lbs
