| i used to be subscribed to BurningTirez because of that lawn tractor he has, and i thought about changing a few things on mine but with the hydro tranny i cant get any more speed out of it without breaking it and having a fully functional 46" deck i want to still be able to mow with it so i cant do much with tire sizes, i think this will get four wheeler tires that are the same size and thats basicly it lol i still want to use it for work and if i get stuck on something else i want to be able to drop the deck and go recover it i probably half of everything i owned i either got for free or next to nothing one way or another, with this one the guy had it on kijiji.ca and he was asking 800 so i emailed him and said something like "will you take 550? if not let me know what you can do i dont have a lot to spend" then he told me 700 and later that night he said 625 if its gone today so i replied and i said ill give you 650 if you can deliver it so the next day at 11am it was infront of my shed one thing i always do is lowball just to see how low they will really go but i still try to be nice with it saying if you cant accept my offer what can you do? then negotiate from there lol | |

| Lowballing is a must. People do not understand its CRAIGSLIST OR EBAY. If we wanted to pay full price we would buy A NEW one.. When people lowball me I will usually meet them half way or say yea I can deliver. Nothing wrong.. | |

| i think im going to mount my four wheeler tires on it then just use it to cut the grass, im moving in the next 2 months and the new place has 1.5 acres of grass to cut and another 1.5 that we are going to let grow | |

| I wouldve passed on that - even with the vtwin and deck - $650 seems a bit steep to me , even delivered.
Few years ago I picked up 4 lawntractors, 3 ran , one has no spark - 2 were horizontal opposed twin motor GT's for $300 - 2 became parts tractors, and two are mowers ( one is a GT- the other is a LT11)- i figure for the GT i could easily get $300 alone for it IF i sold it ( i plan on getting a sleeve hitch and front plow blade - thatll make it worth nearly $500).
Some guy at the local flea market wanted $100 just for a teccy single motor - im like " No way would i spend that on a single cylender motor alone - for a twin i would tho" .
Ive paid $50 for a twin opposed MTD that runs- main reason that was cheep was it happened to be rusty as hell, weeds were growing thru the seat and it was missing the starter.
