| Hehehe... err, not going to do anything much with these, as I need something to cut the weeds with. This will be the grass cutter. Little bit dirty under the eh? The guy said it ran, but had no power. Thought it was because a valve seat came out. He had an engine before do this, got some parts from it. I might try and find an adequate replacement. Also something fudged up with the wiring, key start dont work. Power assist lift! Solid State yo! Alright, enough of that... No hood. Guy didnt get a hood when he got em... but thats ok. Who needs a hood anyways. 18hp Onan twin! Will be more of a "utility" thing... wont be doing much with it, might put a beefier hitch on it. Thinking about building a mower/brushhog/thing attachment for the front... Asking for better exhaust though... Got a small pile of extra parts, 2 blades, deck for the 18hp needs put together, some extra wheels and tires. Oh fun. Both have a top speed of 6.3 mph! | |

| That snowblower weights about 100lbs. I couldn't lift the one I had by myself. Looks like a weight box attachment for the rear? I had an 80's GTV18 and the motor was turned 90 degrees compared to yours. Is there a gas tank under the seat? That small tank doesn't look stock, and maybe the reason for no hood? Put some teeth on the snowblower and use it like a flail mower for brush | |

| Yeah sure Doc, maybe next year!
Haha. That snow blower is a heavy unit... and I took it off in the middle of the road. lol. Previous owner made all the brackets and whatnot to mount it to this tractor.
I have the tank, but it is cracked along the seam. The previous owner rigged that tank up there
Saved the deck form the mower I used before, Im thinking about rigging it up with a 6.5hp push mower engine and build a mount for it to use on this mower. Gotta figure out some other cool junk to mount on it, maybe a tiller or something...
How did yours run the belts and whatnot? Did it have a different kind of transaxle, or was it more along the lines of a car or something?

| The belts made a 90 degree turn and twist, ending up on a horizontal pulley to a 3 speed trans. I think it's the same trans as yours without the high/low option. It wasn't an ideal setup. | |

| Doesnt seem to be very practical... I would think it would eat belts quicker.
I need to get belts for these things. Went for a little joyride on the 18hp today, the clutch started to not stay engaged. Got to looking around there is not spring to keep tension on it. Also noticed the belt is getting pretty sad. Still managed to take it through some mud a lesser machine would get stuck in lol.
No issues starting up, but after about 15min or so, then engine started surging. Didnt die, less the throttle was way down.

| I think the hoods are too tall and wide. If you take a look at TheRainbowBoxer's tractor when it was stock and then look at those the hoods are way different. They put the garden tractor hoods (bigger) on there to stuff the opposed twin on it. I personally think they are to big for the garden tractors as well. Still though, a great base frame to start on. Congrats on the score. | |

If I remember correctly all they did was turned the hood around so front is back and back if now the front :p
