We're gonna need more info. Without more info, we're just shooting in the dark. IF your engine has breaker points, they may be dirty or bad. Your kill circuit may be grounded out somewhere. You may have an issue with a safety switch, or even your ignition switch.

Begin by disconnecting the kill wire off the magneto (coil) and trying.
