| You could lower it... i mean not go crazy like i am. But i guess make a good looking "stance" so you can fart round on it, and tinker around. Wont learn anything unless you really experience it. | |

| Yeah I know where des plaines is... And that's what I was thinking make this one a stances go kart... Then if I got money after this... Buy another tractor and do the same w/ the retention pond and the new mower and just make that one an off-roader then | |

| Hey guys And gals... So my transmission for my tractor is a h shift... With an input of a vertical shaft and a output of a horizontal shaft... Is their any transmissions out their that are like a h shift but have an input and output of a horzontal? | |

Not like a gearbox where its chain driven to the rear axle. only garden tractor rear transaxles have that unfortunately..

Not problem. You could go a go kart route with a honda clone deal, and a torque converter or a different clutch

| Yeah... I was thinking about a honda clone... Cause I have one of those on my minibike... Or a gx200, jack shaft , then a trans... But I want to go "gokart" straight axle method... So I'm thinking of something | |

| That is a RUGG "Carpet Cutt" machine without a doubt. (EDIT, yeah now I'm doubting a little looking at other pics, but RUGG made most of the micro tractors in the late 60's). I built one for my first tractor but sold it when times got tough. Never saw it run... I think the year is a 1968 or 1969. It originally had a 5hp B&S Flatty. Great little machine. It's already a mini, so IMHO it's begging to be made into a little speed machine. Keep us posted on this cool little machine! | |

| Yep, looks like a Huffy Caprice! Sorry about the mislead. Here's the link I found TRACTOR DATA DOT COMAnd a pic of the original. The similarity between all these micro tractors is (I think) more than just a coincidence. They must have been made by the same company. Like MTD made everything for everyone for years... | |
