Figured since red had a thread, i'd start one aswell.

I did everything but remove the rear window and spray it by this point.

I told him I wanted the truck bad, he named a price and I bought it shortly after that pic^

he bought it with no engine, but picked up this 351m for it

Damn thats hot. i want to dress up my 360 like how you painted yours, water pump and intake gray. after all, my c6 is already painted to match....  tongue

Thats a sweet truck TroyBilt Pony im looking to get a truck soon either a chevy stepside or a ford stepside. i like the look of the short beds. and i'm looking at a 50s ford for a restoration/sunday driver

I used VHT aluminum paint. I think it looks good. lays down pretty nice for a spray can.

One ting, well two, about regular paint is heat and corrosives like gas and other fluids. It wont last that long, or at least as it does now. Powdercoat is the way to go, or Automotive paint since its formulated against fluids.

this stuff holds up to gas, most hi temp paints are formulated to be resistant to gas and such. however they are not brake fluid proof

I know the pans look rough without grinding the welds, but I didnt feel like it considering its covered up..
