1988 Murray 11/32 "pro touring"

I have a 1988 murray 11/32 that is going to be 4 inches off the ground.

Parts:
36in. solid axle 1 in. diameter
16*6.50* 6 kenda super turf rear tires
stock Goodyear front tires& wheels
peerless 700 5 speed
8 in. disc brake with mechanical caliper
side shift conversion
red headlights and underflow
removed amp meter and hand throttle ( holes have been filled)
custom rear frame portion
custom front end
stock clutch (for now)
direct steering
bike brake gas pedal
straight pipe wit rear dump out
8 horse briggs ( for now, looking for a twin)
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________These are all my plans for this mower, am looking for a twin cylinder Briggs but as you guys can probably tall I have 500 dollars into this and 180 man hours of labor into it already.

Yeah, I am looking forward to finishing up some things and having a rolling chassis again

I see em now! What kinda steering spindles are you running on it?

Red, ATM it looks like there is nothing on it. The tires are probably just sitting there for the picture.

No spindles in yet, gonna make my own out of quarter inch

Yeah I have been working on it for a while now but only started lowering this much a week ago

Nice start on a build, i really like using a live axle over a Tansaxle.

Yeah more durable and don't have to worry about a locked transaxle breaking under the torque taking off and stopping hard

About how fast are you planning on making this?

40 mph

my plans are to do 40 mph

Dude just make sure you get all your steering angles right. I've made a speed/hot rod tractor which is rather twitchy on the steering at anything over 20mph. I wish Id spent more time researching the steering.
