My 6211 simplicity dozer build

yeah, I know Ive been gone for a wile, but I put wheels on the wheele bars and made a weight rack on the front, and now i'm cutting my tires for traction. I ended up getting a full- time job on a farm so I don't have much time for the internet or tractors but the show is in 7 days so I got to get moving fast.

well... I gave in and shelled out $171 for a pair of 25x12.5x12 kenda bearclaws last night. this is the first time I have bought new tires for one of my rigs.

Ok I got my tires yesterday... good thing I didn't go with 26s like I originally planed on, these are 25s and the have about 3/8" clearance...







annnd I put one on backwards, so I have to fix that. then a video!

Dig tires. What Axle you got?

I don't think it is a peerless, cause it is cast iron. I think simplicity made it, and it has 1" axles, and it is a 3 speed
H-pattern shift, no shift keys.

peerless made cast iron 3 speeds Im gonna guess and say peerless 2300? Doubt the 1200s were 1" axle but I could check mine

well I got stuck in the swamp so I had to use the murray to get it out.

Dang! I need to get my ducks in a row so we can go wheelin sometime! And do youthink that if i ran some ready rod through the holes in the wheels i could make duals that way?

New exhaust looks great, but with my knowledge and experience with the oppy, i would recommend a bigger pipe, maybe 2 - 2/12 inch...

yeah, when I go to work today I will look for larger pipe. this was all that I had. I think I will build stacks for this.

Naw, no stacks... Its a plow tractor so unless they will be way a ove your head you wont like them... The noise and exhaust fumes will be right in your face. Thats why the stack on my bolens is so big.

personally, i would stack it. make it about 6 inches taller than your head. pop inline, cylinder style mufflers in there, and that would be sick. put a 90 on the end and cut it like i did with mine. blows the mung away from you, looks cool, sounds good

new front tires! goes threw everything now, even with the blade. it has a 5/8" belt now.
