My 6211 simplicity dozer build

I got this yesterday.

well I got the engine readdy to start, and the starter was sized. so, i got the starter gear in the flywheel gear and spun the engine to break it loose I put some oil down it to free it up. when I start it I will put on the dozer blade and dualies.

This thing should be awesome! About your avatar... I couldn't agree more. Oppys are such pigs on gas.

talk about it! lol in other news, it started and ran, but I need more coils for all my oppeys. now to put on the blade!

oh yeah, I estimate $1,000 worth of stuff.

I got tired of the variable and ripped it out, then built a new clutch. It goes pretty good even with the stock pulleys on it, like 7 mph.

well i finished school yesterday and went out to use the simplisity. the starter is toast, so i got the grinder out and cut a notch in the mower deck pulley to use as my pull starter. got it started and added a belt retainer to the clutch pulley. I still need to tinker with it and fix some of the linkages though.

How do the dual wheels mount to the standard wheels?

Needs a diesel and a stack :p

A spacer gets bolted to the axle along with the first rim. Then the second rim gets bolted to the spacer.

Angchor is correct. just like on farm tractors, there is a spacer of sorts, that goes on before the lugnuts, then has studs on the other side for the dual to bolt to.

I couldn't look at Craigslist until I got home. Some sites, like youtube and cl, are blocked at work.

need to work on the clutch, and i did a pull start on the deck pulley. i will do a pulley swap because the belt rubs with the big pulley on the axle.

ok so I got it to stop surging (it was because the p/o took off the air cleaner) made one out of a rag and rubber band, and it runs great! and with the new clutch it does a wheelie no matter how soft you let it out! willis- maybe NOT lol. now i'm building wheelie bars and a hitch so i can go to the pull this saturday.

at the pull. i need more wheight on the front.

wow it pulls nice i hope my cub pulls that nice how much weight do you have to pull? and what weight class are you in? I have a tractor pull august 9 so we shall see how good the cub does

about 850 lbs and I'm in the 750 lb class

oh ok im going to be pulling in the 950-1150 class

thats a good pull man , ha least your didnt blow the trans 7 feet from a full pull

yeah, I know Ive been gone for a wile, but I put wheels on the wheele bars and made a weight rack on the front, and now i'm cutting my tires for traction. I ended up getting a full- time job on a farm so I don't have much time for the internet or tractors but the show is in 7 days so I got to get moving fast.
