This is the only tractor we have with a 3/4 transaxle at the moment, but most of the parts swap with our 820's. Took it apart to check things out, since we haven't had it apart in a couple years.
Intermediate gear/shaft hole was wore out, by at least .100 Bored out the gear and installed a bushing to repair it.
Also a shot of the gears we installed to speed it up a little. Used a 20 and 30 tooth gear, to replace the original 15/35 gears.
Good news is shifter keys were in great shape. This tractor is one that gets ridden by many people, good to see it's holding up.
what are the gears out of? oh i just wached the vidio and it is a gear from the gearset. i'll have to take mine apart and see what tranny is going to sacrifice its life for his friends lol.

Not sure what tranny the gears came from, it was in the pile of gears. Probably peerless. Have to bore out the larger gear, or turn down the shaft it goes on, to weld it on. I was worried about losing gear hardness by welding it, but it's holding up fine so far, no wear.
