| Alright so i think i am having a clutch issue that i might no the answer to i just to wanted to make sure. Right now i have the clutch bout midway between the engine and the transaxle and i have a idler/tenser pulley between the engine and clutch pulley. i did some light testing i had it up on a cynderblock an put it in first gear. when i press in the clutch nothing happens... the tires keep on spinning. could it be cuz theres no load on it or should i move the idler pulley to the other side of the clutch(in between the clutch and the trans axle)?
thanks | |

| ill try that.. i think its getting slack enuf. the clutch is on the edge of the right side and when fulley depresses it will hit the other side. i had to put a stopper in so it would stop just before hitting . alsotho aner question i had was when you push in the clutch is it supposed to make it slip on the rear or engine pulley?

| it should slip at the engine, well the belt should come away from the pulley so its not touching it at all but if its touching its ok | |

| in that case i think i should move my idler because most of the slack is going to the rear. i think if i didn't have a idler in between the clutch and engine it would help ill have to test that tommorow | |

| Should be able to mess around n build one from plain steel- those billet ones are for those high dollar racers. | |
