Forum Restructure (3/5/14)

Recently the General + Technical forum was getting a bit crowded and needed some sorting. Based on some input from the survey provided at the end of the giveaway entry from, we have decided to restructure that section of the forum and add a new S-Mod.

The restructure isnt too serious, although if you are confused as to what is going on, here is a rundown:


General + Technical split

- General is now "General Tractor Talk + Pictures/ Videos"

- - "Pics + Videos" moved from "Project Builds" to here

- Technical subforums (Chassis, Engine, Drivetrain + Brake, Electric) moved into new section; "Technical Forum"

Technical Forum created

- Contains: Chassis, Engine, Drivetrain + Brake, Electric

- "How-To + FAQ" moved to here

- Creation of "Technical Manuals" section



Technical Manuals will now contain threads directly related to technical manuals. For the time being there are only two sections; Engine and Transaxle. Once manuals are uploaded in bulk will they be split into more subsections for more specific brands. There is also a section for Requesting A Manual, or submitting one if you have one. Lawren Wimberly is the new moderator for Technical Manuals.

As always with restructure there will be bugs. If you notice problems with anything, please feel free to post it below so it can be addressed quickly.

I've got a big milky way advertisment blocking some stuff on half the pages I click on! Of course that might not have anything to do with you guys moving stuff around. It's just that it should be at the top, not blocking the different forum sections so I can't see what I'm clicking on. Something not 100% somewhere.

mine does that too. download an ad blocker. thats all i do

I took a nifty screenshot of it happening, just to make things a bit more interesting... Not that I mind the ad's (at the top), but look, I couldn't even see t-dub13's signature! It doesn't happen every time though.

mine does that at school. download google chrome, install adblock. takes care of it.

Funny you should mention that. I had a user contact me recently with regards to a Snickers ad doing the same thing to him. I had NO idea what he was talking about, I don't get that. I DO use Chrome tho'.

its only recently ive noticed it. it really screws me up when im trying to log on if im on a computer that dosent have adblock installed. it only takes about 3 mins to install on chrome. SO worth it. even blocks the ads on youtube vids

The only kind of ads I get is right under the banner when I'm not logged in. I use chrome, no ad blocker. A add in the middle of the page is kinda rediculous

When i first joined the forum without a ad blocker ads were everywhere then i installed one on chrome. Don't see one ad like willis said blocks youtube ads and in video ads. Just to help people out heres the ad blocker i use. I used a Link shortener to shorten it. Link: http://bit.ly/195msgN

I don't want chrome... yes it annoying, it happens to me too, the forum code is obviously written for another browser. You are also correct in that it has nothing to do with restructuring... it is a specific ad company that has funky code, not all of 'em do that. Someone in admin MAY be able fix it, but probably not.

I have noticed the snickers add blocking my view of the forum.  I thought it was just me.  It really stinks when you can't access the "log-in" thing to log in.  That's why I haven't been on alot in the past month.

Its a Forummotion thing. Ive noticed glitchiness in the chat with pictures too. Nothing I can do really. I do suggest adblock as well, I use it.

He he, yeah apparantly there is 10000 asian singles near me.

Also, if anybody is having trouble with code messing up when editing posts, let me know here: https://www.atltf.com/t3533-bug-reports. I want to contact the host so if there is an issue that needs addressed by them then post it so I can ask all at once.
