I would go for the 25x12x12 tires because a rounded tire works better than a flat one when doing tractor pulling.

Got the filter for the transmission off the redneck way lol

I broke the first tool that is supposed to remove oil filters   

And a pipe wrench didn't work either    

So i got really mad and i grabbed a hammer and started beating it and finally got it off      Mission accomplished

I got the pump ready to be cleaned

Got the hole taped off

Got some more things painted today

I got some IH White,primer,body putty and some welding wire so i will be painting some things tomorrow. If its not to cold. hhhmmm or could just paint anyway who cares if i get frostbite on my fingers. lol

I got my rims painted with there first coat. and the little panel that goes in between your legs on the tractor. but was upset to find out that the paint takes 24 hours to dry   per coat

I cant paint until the snow goes away so there won't be many updates for the next couple days.

Yea it snowed and now it stopped but it will start again soon

My plan was to finish my pulling tractor and pull with it and see how the hydro does. And if it doesn't do well swap it out with a manual. So my question is do they Have manual transmissions for my tractor? or would i have to modify one to fit?

I have a mid 70s I think red cub hydro with no engine was thinking of making a super mod puller

I got the holes in my hood all filled in but I can't post a picture because I'm on my phone right now so ill post some pictures tonight.

And i got some paint on the rims. I just need to do one more coat on one side and 2 more on the other side.

I've heard the hydro cubs do really well in competition pulling in the lower weight stock classes. The pumps are tough if you keep them cool

I pulled with my 122 a few years in the 900 lb and the 1000 lb classes with ag style tires and did pretty well all stock. It weighed 890 lb with me on it.
