Today is the 182nd anniversary of the fall of the Alamo.  I cannot express what the Alamo means to us Texans. If they had not made the ultimate sacrifice, we would not have a Texas today.

Little side note here, is it just me or does it seem that most of us mower modders are metalheads? Seems like an odd correlation, but it seems to be true. Meatalheads are kind of the minority wherever I’ve been, so it’s cool to see a lot of them here.

People with good taste in offroad machines seem to have good taste in music lol. Metal is the only real genre out there, it's not full of BS sellouts and nonsense.

The song about the ranger with the big iron on his hip is the best. Texas Red never stood a chance. That song was in Fallout: New Vegas

Yes, I know. The song Big Iron from Marty's Trail Song album.  A lot of his songs ended up in video games, I think they shouldn't have.

I also like his versions of the songs Running Gun, Ghost Riders in the Sky, and The Texas Ranger
