what is the avarage weight of an opposed twin?

does anyone know? I'm trying to diside if I should swap engines or not in my mtd. It was at 550 lb and I want to get down to 500 lb.

I had to ship one to OK a couple years ago. Without the intake/ carb and governor setup ( and oil of course) it was 98 lbs.

yea i was gunna say, its gunna be over 100.over 110 wet probally. briggs V twin is 85lbs stock dry by comparison

prolly around 90-105 id think, i know my 29 vtwin is 105 dry wieght and it feels about the same as my oppys

Hmm. I know my scrap scale goes by 10lbs, my briggs and tehcumsh said 90, with full wiring harness of the tractor too.

thanks for the replys. my ohv is 75 lb so about a 30 lb loss. that is what I think I'll do. thanks for the help guys.
