My main rally/mudder/trail mower is an '86 Craftsman II with an 11hp synchro briggs. It's got a 5 speed Foote transaxle in it, which has shifter placement similar to a peerless mst or 920; having the curve and notch between your knees 'on the floor.' I haven't found any model numbers on it, it just has FOOTE in the bottom casting. Wondering if anyone has experience with these and if they'd be any good for a typical off roader - mainly trails n stuff. I'll get model numbers up as soon as I find them I haven't done anything stupid crazy in terms of locking or crazy big tires - I'll be running Duro HF277 Thrashers 20 x 7.00 - 8". No locker yet cause my weld-pak needs FCAW wire and I'm outta argon.
