| We should really have a section of the forum, on the .com/forum page, that is dedicated to people looking to form or contact groups of people that ride and build tractors. Espyville Mudders is an example [see redzz02's youtube videos - I've got no connection to him, other than viewing a few vids]. If more groups of people are forming [due to the forum having a shoutout section for forming/contacting groups/clubs], the 'sport', if you will, should grow in popularity. It'll give residents nationwide the chance to go riding with someone that won't laugh at their build - likeminded people are nice to ride with. I live in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, and given that this forum seems to have started in Maine specifically, I don't think enough folks up here in Canada or the southwest are getting the message that theres more people than you think that actually take building and riding seriously, and that help is available if they have questions; it's difficult to get a straight answer from a typical small engine mechanic about how to mount a gas pedal bike lever on a craftsman, know what I mean? Topics within the section should simply be the name of the group or club separated by something [ - : ~ | whatever], then the area it started. For example, the group I'd like to start, I'd make my topic "Sudbury Mudders - Ontario, Canada", and include contact info in the post; stuff like my email, address, areas I ride, etc. It would make it so much easier for people in the same area to find one another so they can go romping! MAKE SURE TO VOTE IN THE POLL ABOVEpoll runs for 4 weeks SOMEONE HAS TO EMAIL ME IF THIS GOES THROUGH - Doug Fackler (Admin) wrote:

| Valid points, all-
Speaking from my own perspective, there's also this- A 4-hour drive to romp is a full 8-hour day, not including the romp time. For those of us with other responsibilities (wife, kids, job, dog, etc) this can be horrible to try and schedule.

| Yeah, you all seem to catch my drift, I'm repeating myself but I want to see this [Local ATLT Groups] page at the .com/forum page. Right there so everyone can find it easily. In the list of subforums. A buddy of mine I trail ride with, a neighbor, was saying that we ought to find a way to attract more folks in the area to ride with. He doesn't have internet [so no ATLTF for him], so I said I'd see what I could do with my internet voice. The poll is looking great too with 27 days left - holy crap I doubt we'll have any objections. | |

| If it is decided to add this section to the forum, I suggest sub-sections for different areas (I.E. Northeast US, Midwest US, Eastern Canada, etc, plus a catch-all "Other")... So groups with less obvious names can be easily identified as to roughly where they are. New sub-sections could be added if an area blows up the forum, say Northeastern Europe or something.
I also suggest that the "social events/scheduled events" page be moved from classifieds and become a sub-section of this. Not that Classifieds is necessarily wrong, just that this proposed section seems a more appropriate place for it.

| SWEET all rainbows suggestions sound good to me. Topics [names of groups in each location section] will be formatted like this, using mine as an example. It'll be found in the Canadian section. "Sudbury Mudders - Ontario" as the subject, then all the location and contact bs would appear as the topic contents. Make it a sticky for what the name/location format should look like. [name of the group] - [province/state it applies to]
