| Well guys its been quite a while since I have posted, and to say the least, the bolens has changed. Different tires, different engine, many different exhausts, new lights, new rear bumper, winch, air pump, peerless 820, plow attatchment.. the list goes on..[img:9213] https://i.servimg.com/u/f59/18/59/60/95/bolens10.jpg[/im" border="0" alt=""/>g] | |

| Well the 25hp Intek was worn out, rings had over 1/8" ring gap. using oil like crazy and compression was very low. So I put in a 20hp Intek that I got off of a free MTD I found on the side of the road a couple miles from my house. I drained the oil and it had way too much, smelled really gassy. I took off the shroud and there was the reason for the gassy oil, a mouse nest and a plug wire chewed in two. So they must have use it running on one cylinder for quite some time and the fuel for that cylinder was just washing through the rings.. Put a coil off my 25hp and it runs beautifully, after a carb clean of course. I also ran an addition onto my exhaust. It runs all the way up around the rear fenders. Just a little update, pictures to come. | |

I just get lucky I guess. lol. I only have 2 inteks. and one vanny that is mine. Then two opposed and four singles and an inline twin Suzuki motorcycle engine. Ive come across 3 820s too. kept one, got my cousin one and got my pretty much brother in law one. I just take advantage of a good deal when I can find one. | |

| Not gonna lie, but I was searching for a new romper to build and saw your build and liked the Bolens. Then, just so happens my good buddy had the exact same tractor. Naturally, we worked out a deal and I eventually built my own Bolens. You pretty much inspired my build man, thanks. | |
