| Trimmed the footrests down so my front tires don't rub, removed the oil drain tube and put the plug in (the tube was too long and interfered with turning), did a quick fab to put a temp seat on; took it for a ride in the front yard.
Havent giggled like that in awhile, but the wife is sure Im going to kill myself. Note to self, work on that clutch system, because starting out in 5th is a guaranteed wheelie no matter how much I romance that pedal! (only %25 throttle too!) | |

| Put some much needed juice into M2. I had fitted a 625CA marine deep-cycle battery that I had laying around, but it wasn't keeping a charge. Too old. Marched my butt down to Bass Pro and cashed in some gift cards I had collected. *BOOM* 750CA Optima Blue-Top dual purpose deep cycle. This oughta do!!! | |

| I had found a JD 200 awhile back that needed some serious work. The PO was towing boats near the ocean with it and he had put a snowblower motor in it. He said he put an engine in every year because it would eventually break the connecting rod in those motors So I took it home and parked it. It was a lawn ornament for a few months. recently came across an old generator (120V only) that had an 8hp B&S and I think I got lucky; It fired up after just adding gas. Didn't have to clean or adjust anything! So now I'm bringing the Deere back to life. The motor is almost ready to go. I just have to buy a 7/8" bore pulley for the pto. | |

| Yesterday I put some new fuel line in the mtd because it started leaking from dry rot. I adjusted the gov linkage so it idles low. Might need new spark plugs or something but it sounds good and revs quick. | |

| the new engine is a 1990's tehcumseh OHV 12HP the original was a 72 flat head briggs 8HP engine 3 of the 4 bolr hole's line up but the pulley on the engine sit's about 7/8 of an inch to low to aline with the drive system only thing I can think of is to make some wooden spacer's or get a crap load of big washer's and grill the last bolt hole with a barrowed drill
