| Ive got a little money saved up to buy some tires and i was wondering what tires you guys think preform better in mud and on the trails? Tractor supply has Nobby (Atv tires) and AG (Tractor tires) that are in my budget should fit my rims. | |

| I like the knobby tires personally - they are a good performer all around, smoother than the ag treads on hard surface and can dig in pretty well in the muck and soft dirt. |

| All the ags I've had did great in mud/soft dirt, bad everywhere else, ESP. Rocks and roots and logs. Knobbies kick ass everywhere but deep thick mud | |

| For the best ALL-SURFACE (everything is a compromise) go with the ATV tires. The AG's are unmatched on mud and very soft dirt, whereas the knobbies will tend to load with mud pretty easily.

| We run ag's, and used to run turfs. The ag's drift sideways easier when racing on dirt and grass, but trail ride pretty good. I've lost a race to turf tires on dry ground. Knobbies may hold a better line racing, but we haven't done it.
Anything is better than turfs in the mud. Really, the guy who has the kick ass large knobbies is only going to get another foot in the mud hole vs the guy with ag's. 95 percent of the time, you both will make it, or you both will be stuck. | |

| Ags will work better in the mud or on dirt. If you intend on riding on hard surfaces like asphalt or rock climbing you will want knobbies. Knobbies might work in mud if your tractor puts out tons of RPMs on the rear axles, otherwise you are just gonna get em caked with mud. | I got the tractor supply knobbies on my craftsman, they are great tires IMO. I'd recommend them again | |

| I got a free set of knobbies they are kinda small but I want my tractor to sit a little lower, They came with 1 inch hubs for the rear and 1/2 inch for the front so im gonna do what fearless front did for the rear and then make some hubs for the front or maybe buy some ribbed tires for the front haven't decided yet. | |
