Opposed twins get junked every day. I wouldn't judge a forum of 17,000 over one persons choices.

That's funny as hell. I bought that carb off him! As we speak, it's sitting on General Mayhem's intake manifold. Jammy was kind enough to throw in a full rebuild kit. Good guy. Seriously- hella good guy.

I seriously hate to think you abandoned ship because of THAT.

im sensitive when it comes to opposed twins, or any engine for that matter.

TOO sensitive- this is why the engine was scrapped/parted out- ".the crankcase is cracked around the drain plug, the valves look like sheet, the bores are rough and not even round, and one piston looks like it's been hot enough to get soft/squishy."

Ain't too many people out there that would or could have done differently.

I parted a genII twin. Seeya later!

Uuuhhh just be careful about reviving these old threads. Some folks don’t like it.

Good to know. I think I’ll go post in every old thread. OMG, what could be wrong with bringing an old thread to the surface? People learn from it... good. I always thought that is what forums are for. Plus, many searches don’t turn up what you are looking for.
