| Here is a toolbox I made about 3 years ago. Outer metal is all 11 gauge, drawers are 14 or so. 3/8 plate for top/workbench area. Large vise. All welding, cutting bending, painting done by me. Weighs 880lbs, EMPTY. Probably close to a ton full. If you bend metal for a living, check out the double bend doors. Tricky to do, but cool. Top locks when you shut the bottom doors. Side box locks from bottom doors also. Drawers just slid on angle iron, but slide easy when greased. Has lifting holes so I can load it with the crane. Hitch is from when I had it at work, used electric carts to tow it to the job. This thing is loaded with tools, need a little more room. Enough to work on just about anything. Just thought I'd show off... LOL. I've seen some that make mine look sad, guys at work have used full bearing slides and such. I have a second one that is similar at work, not quite as nice. | |

| Make me one, just not as heavy lol. Itll probably outlast any Snap-On box.
Now you need to make a frame for it with some big AT tires and a wider wheelbase to tow it on the trails, lol. Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| Think I'm going to need a bigger tractor to tow this off road!
I tried to tow it once to my pole barn, from garage. Made it about 50 feet, then sunk. I don't even remember how it got out.
This box goes to Haspin every year with us. | |
