| I'd check Craigslist. Go one there, set the max pice on $100 and search lawn tractor. But for a perfect engine it may cost a bit. | |

| i got the fuel system set up today
i still need to find a engine and wirin harness an i need to rebuild the center doulble pull clutch setup. im going to use parts from my mtd to do this | |

| Lol you have a welder? And I'm trying to make my double clutch. Get a 12.5 iron sleeve like what I got. Awesome motor runs forever. Lots of torque. | |

no welder. everything i do to it is bolt on. and since the montgomery frame and the mtd frame are pretty much identicle despite there being 15 years of age between the two. so most mtd parts fit in the ward.im going to swap out the double pulley and mount because the one on the montgomery is rusted and doesnt work right. i hate vari drive lol | |

| byester day i took anything that had to do with the mower deck off. i also began trying to fix the 12.5horse that i already have so i can put that in the montgomery.
i wont have time to work on it today but tomorrow i will have time so ill have an update tomorrow night | |

| Hey, you got any spare parts for it? I just got an 87 ward too. I need a deck wheel, an air filter, muffler, shifter plate, and seat (foam part). I would trade ya some parts. | |
