Well after my fomp it confermed what I was thinking. The mud and water or rocks, were flying everywere on the rear fender, and I liked docs idea of a rear fender function, and look. Went to the junkyard, got one fender, and gave it a shot.



I cut it in half then got stuck on what I should do. So like and fabricator, I just sat there, staring at it for about 15 minutes. Once you cut, there really isn't any going back. Thought of this first....



Then flipped it 180 and started cutting, this is what I ended up with in mock-up....





Then I started spot welding it on. Burned some paint as expected, when I repaint the stripes will flow down the fenders.






Grinded it down, and for viewing pleasure......

Its a peerless 930, same as MD's racer.
 




 
Made a new oil seal, but the axles move around a lot in the case, 1/4", I cant do anything about it. For the things I do (where/how I drive it) posi aint for me. Im going to grab a new axle from the junkyard in a few weeks (3?) im leaving for a while. ill leave that open.
 
Heres my buddies 16.5hp opposed that I got running. I took the carb apart and ran carb-cleaner though all the holes.
 


All back together, runs great now. he changed the oil, and then broke the starter gear, oh well.
 


 
Back to my tractor, I made a hood pinn so my hood doesn't fall off anymore. Fearless's mod worked awesome!! Heres all the things I used + a washer, and drilled some holes.

I've been at my camp, vacation for over a week, so no progress. I'll be back next sunday. I'm not Shure what is going to happen to the tractor when I get home. Something cool. Wait......

I decided that I needed or wanted a hitch. Good pullout point and just to tow stuff. I used a 1 7/8" ball and some bent piece of metal that I cut up and used. This was from a golfcart.

I cut that then cut some braces up for support


Welded it all




Works great, not much that can go wrong with it anyways. I wish the piece that the ball that connected to was longer but it was flat and started to bend in a 90 degree angle. just needs paint now

and i would add some angular pieces that come of of the plate that holds the ball back to the bumper. to give ut a little more straight

Good idea, ill do that if it breaks off tho. I don't plan on putting a lot of stress on it bc I don't want to break the axle

Well what I need next is a new 4" or 5" pully, not shure what. Im getting it from tractor supply, because I think the stock 3 1/2" vari drive engine pully is what is causing the belt slipping.

Remember those fender extensions?

Yea, cool paint jobs are cool until you find something you don't like. In rewelding my fender I burned the paint and now im finally redoing the back corners. This is what I got so far.




The original red was shot in cold temp so it didn't stick very good, I sanded it down and reshot it. did 3 coats of each color.

And done, just some touch ups, that at this point and time are already done.
