| This thing is going to get fixed up for my 11 year old boy. It has a 16hp twin Briggs and foot pedal operated hydro trans. I have some 22-10-8 ATV tires for the rear. I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks. | |

| The first thing I would do it get rid of the hydro trans. You can't mod then to go any faster so they usually don't do great in mud just my opinion | |

| Lucky boy! and that will be a good start. Love those Opposed Twin's. Looks like the one im waiting on. Tho mine's an 18.5 - since i found those more common, when thinkign of getting parts. But again might be the same parts as yours actually. | |

Im not rally worried about how fast it goes. It probably wont see much mud, if it does i think my tractor will pull it out.

Iv climbed big piles of loose wet dirt with no prob it climb right up it i didt go full speed i just took it slow and speed up as i went up it spun alittle but not enough to spin out

| Well crap i have run in to a problem. the rear wheels on this thing are the kind with the 3/4" keyed shaft. one wheel came off real easy. the other one did not. I actually broke one of the clips that holds the axle in the trans trying to knock the wheel loose. Since i had wheel and axle out i figured i would try pressing it off. Let me just say that dude is stuck. I almost broke a 30 ton press trying to get it off. i bent the wheel some but i was able to get it back straight. I heated it, i sprayed it, i beat on it, NOTHING worked. Any ideas or am i just going to have to cut it off and find another wheel. Any ideas for a online place that may have them?
Thanks guys. | |

| I have a hood for it. But it is one with the plastic front on it and it looks like some tried ramming trees with it. We are going to build a nice brush guard on it to protect the motor.
glad you all like it, i asked my boy what he wanted to call it. in normal 11 year old fashion his first idea was the Dorkinator. I do call him a dork all the time.

| I have the trans all back together. i locked the diff while i was at it. since this a pedal operated hydro i had to move the pedal back so my boys legs could reach it easily. i also Made a new brake pedal setup that moved the pedal back and did away with the clutch setup on the drive belt. Not to sure why the clutch is needed when its a hydro. built a new linkage From the brake pedal to the brake lever on the trans with some old steering ball joints that were original to my tractor. The brakes lock up tight now on it. Not much left to do on this ride, i need to get another drive belt and build a brush guard for it. New brake pedal setup. brake Linkage to trans Brake pedal Hydro pedal moved back, you see the original mounting holes. | |
