| With 3$ a week i would ditch this project, its naiv to think you Will ever finish this without a proper plan and a budget. Why are you aiming so high? Just wondering, all I want is a mower and I have a budget. | |

| Well I've built a few mowers already. And I have spare parts and tractors to sell to make money. Also I've had someone offer to "go in wih me", but I want to earn the money myself. This is a rare opportunity! | |

| Go to your local junkyard and look for a motor me id probly do an old inline 6 and try and find an ancient one that uses as many wires as the mower motor did | |

| umm just to attest if you use a cub cadet its not hard to stuff a 2.3l ford into it just have to get a pulling tractor gear set so it takes the extra power. we used a bell and clutch set up off a mustang 2 . it worked. wasnt that graceful though. | |
