Getting a mower cheap for parts...anyone know what it is?

Basicly what the title says...its a bolens im getting it for 20$ because i want the pull start motor...from the pic i think its a 10hp briggs i/c motor. Anyone know the year? Its a bolens obviously

Bolens are great mowers, but that one is not! I mowed many hours on that mower. Single blade deck would scalp and was getting out of level all the time. Motor was decent, transmission only required fixing once, when the shifter got stuck. One I used had electric start, that one may have both. If I remember right, they had a weak front axle.

Okay for mowing a small level yard, not good for much else. The transmission was separate from the rear axle, I don't think it was a peerless.

Just looked again, looks like motor is taken apart some, and it has a double blade deck. I would buy it, fix it, and sell for 200 bucks.

Heck anything for under $50 is worth getting - even for parts .
