| Thats what i say about RER's - sell em or parts em- i really dont like them. The only RER i actually liked was a 5HP dynamark i had years ago - had these neat 'tanks' on the sides of the back around the motor. If i couldve held onto it, i wouldve- just didnt have room , so i sold it.
My mod MTD has the rear tires off my junked red murray RER to lower its stance. Too bad your RER doesnt have a peerless 700 trans- could run a straight axle on your murrat.

| No it has a spicer 6 speed i think. and yes i hate RER's. but i will harvest its organs. so that other tractors will live. I have no clue what brand of motor this has in it. it was dark and cold when i unloaded it from the van. | |

| Aw Man! i dunno then ill give the motor a chance but the carb is pooched i might experiment with other kinds of carbs on it. But the body of this will probably be made into a small trailer. | |

| I tried putting a teccy carb on a briggs - carb was off my parts 16HP teccy ( too bad cause it has oil pressure/oil filter- might still try to do something with it) onto a 14.5HP briggs - the bolt holes had to slightly elongated on the teccy carb, but it did all bolt up- only issue was it wasnt getting fuel into the engine- so i ended up using another carb on the briggs.
I bot a couple small scooter carbs from a flea market for $15 each- might want to try something like that - mine are going on something soon.... | |

| i like making the rear riders into racers, just put a 5hp with a centrifical clutch with the ones with gearboes on them, and use the gearbox, for monster mowers !!! | |

| I am Planning on mounting a air-tank in the space either move the basket forward and mounting it there or vice-versa. also i am gonna put a wood floor in the back and build a tailgate on the back of the trailer. it will be a multi use trailer and eventuality take the transmission out of it and pillow block and raise the rear with a straight axle. its still a work in progress. i was gonna cut it in half but that open area made it more useful. what i used for the a arms and hitch was the towbar from my old VW bug i sold in Sept. I kept the towbar b/c i always knew i was gonna make something out of it. | |
