Hey got a project ive been working on its a late 90's early 2000 mtd

Sorry i havent put pics up of it its actually getting close to done i have the motor in and the suspension almost done just needs some adjustments it has an atv front and rear suspension, 31s on the back and 225's on the front its getting a 3 speed tranny and has an 18 v-twin motor going to shoot for 60 mph with this one

I think it would be much safer doing 15 or 20 on that tractor. I think 20 would even feel fast being up at that height. Awesome looking tractor!

This thing is wide though so it will ne safer than it looks plus im going to run direct steer

FIt's for both just an all around driving tractor I'm going to make it good on and off road

well if you make it go fast wont it not have the torque to go mudding?

Thats what i thought about putting golf kart tires on my fast murray - to make it wider and more stable - actually made it handle worse, specially in the dirt.

30mph is fast on a tractor - ive been there, with the thing moving around so much, i doubt youll reach 30. I had my hands full just trying to keep the tractor from flipping and going out of control.

Seating position has alot to do with stability also - a stock seat bouncing around isnt good - after i solid mounted a seat lower on my MTD - man what a difference - also solid mounting the front axle helped tremendously also.

Tire size and gearing will detirmine speed - look at all those cars with 33" rims on them - things cant get out of their own way because theyre running stock gears .

Id suggest a helmit when driving it .

I've been30 mph on a lawn tractor with super shitty steering and it was sketchy but this is getting better steering and a wider wheel base so it will handle fine at high speeds and I really lost any low end torque on my last one it went 30 in 2nd gear and had 5 gears
