As promised here is some pictures of my little toy. As far as i know its a MTD from the 70's. It originally had a 16hp cast iron briggs. Now its running a 13hp honda. Its shaft drive with a hydrostatic trans. I love it, its totally water proof with no clutch and no belts to slip. The trans also has high and low range. The rear tires are 25-13.5-10 on aluminum wheels and the fronts are 18-8.5-8 some of my future plans are a 3 gallon fuel cell and converting the engine to electric start so i can run lights and a winch. I run this tractor in a tractor pull one time placing 3rd six feet behind first place. 2nd was 3 feet behind first. I hope you all enjoy.
when i run it in the tractor pull it weighed in over 900 pounds. since then it has went on a weight watchers diet and i would probably be safe to say it lost 200 pounds. That thing is built solid.

I removed any thing and every thing that it didn't need. It had all kinds of brackets and other junk on it, the original engine was very heavy. The honda is way lighter then the old briggs. Actually its so light i need to put some weight on the front, its gets a bit light on some large hill climbs.

Thought i would get you all updated on this thing. My electric start / charging system i put on it works great. I am still planning on some different front tires, the ones on it are just to wide and put allot of strain on the steering. I need a new winch also the one i have sucks big time.

They are called trail breakers. I bought them maybe 15 years ago for a project. i have never saw them again since then. they are 25-13.5-10 and get traction on any thing.
