8hp Briggs model question?

Hey I have a old 8hp Briggs I need a recoil start and a gasket for the carb I just needed the plastic Piece for the recoil start

I have the same, or a very similar engine to that. I got for free, but never did
anything with it.

I've got a complete runner like that, but no spare parts. Looks like you have some other treasures there too

Could you by any chance give me the numbers off it so I can get a carb kit thanks alot

And yes I have 4 briggs 5 & 6s motors 2 reo reel motors, a big ass and I mean ! Big wisconsin motor and a little I forget what it's called and 2 boxes full of old shitty parts from old motors

The last one is a Clinton. Right on man... old iron is great

Be careful ordering parts, Briggs used medium(3 bolt bowl) & large(4 bolt bowl) flo-jet carbs on the 19xxxx engines...parts do not interchange.
