| alright i can get my belt to stay on with my clutch pushed in but it still pulls an my belt is crap | |

| im trying to figur that out too when i switch my pulles and what i am going to do is put some more idler pulleys in and thats it.but what i think u need is somthing that would go right beside the pulley like a bolt that would keep the belt from falling of when u push in on the clutch.thats my opinion and thats what i am going to do with my tractor so the belt dosen`t fall off in the middle of a deep mud hole. | |

| Belt retainers - also check to see if the belts are in line to the pulleys - my mod MTD had a tendency to eat belts - turns out the trans pulley was higher then the other drive pulley and it tore them up. | |

| it dont make sense cause it stays on with hte clutch pushed in why wont it without the clutch out | |

| Check to see how much flex the transaxle pulley has. With the belt engaged it may be flexing and throwing it out of true. i had this happen with the stock pulley on my murray.. | |
