This year, to my knowledge, no one has stepped up if we want to do prizes this year or not. I'll definitely send the top 3 some ATLTF stickers (stock is getting low). In the past few years, I have been one of the biggest sources for prizes (BIG thanks to those that did pitch-in) and with us being more "international" that gets a bit pricey as well as limited items that can cross borders. When the Build-off started 11 years ago, it was more for bragging rights, some members pitched in for some simpler prizes. Somewhere down the line, winches and more elaborate prizes entered the picture. Then again, the forum was really steady with members online and available. Just to give an example, there are 4 Administrators for the site, 4 Moderators for the site and a handful of section admins/mods. Of all those staff members, how many do you see here on the regular? (2 right now, sometimes 3) The Chat, it was hit and miss through the week but hopping Friday and Saturday nights. (US Time zones). But I'm getting a little off track.
The points I was coming to... I said this is the final year for the Build-off for now. My thought was, I'll continue the build-off if you guys would like. It's a fun competition. I'll continue to:
Make/update rules for it.
Administer it
Start/End it
check for qualifying entries
make sure the playing field is pretty even as can be.(rules)
I'll make badges for your profiles
keep up the Hall of Fame page.
As long as I am apart of ATLTF I'll do these things. I might throw in a prize or something here and there, but if you guys want to keep this going, feel free to throw some prizes at your peers too. Don't forget to post up thank yous and such.
Thoughts?

Ive always loved the build off but never have space to continue my project or time to post it I wish we could advertise the forum more, I do any chance I get if I had camera gear and time I'd make videos about my build but I'm working two jobs and have a potato phone, I'm slowly inching away on my build though taking pictures and everything

I think its a good idea. I might not ever participate (unless i build a street-legal-55mph-death-mower to ride to work), but it seems to keep everyone building, at least. Competition, competition......
