Hi, I am a 40yo dad and tinkerer. Love making something out of nothing. Still love 4wding just post kids I needed a project to scratch the same itch but smaller.
Then a couple years ago I fell off in the YouTube rabbit hole seeing videos of guys like @redzz02 having so much fun offroading these modified mowers. WHAT?? Anyway I decided to go shopping.
Found two I'm guessing 1960s NZ-built Power Ponys for sale. Spent last year doing up the first one, looking forward to building # 2 for the 2024 buildoff.
Seems like a really positive community, great to be around passionate people having fun. Glad to be here.

New Zealand Power Pony... that was new to me. Googled it, and it and the couple I saw looks like the love child of a Wheel Horse and Massey Ferguson. Nice, does yours have the peerless 2300 in it? Looks to be a good platform just by what I saw in pix.
Feel free to start up topics for your tractors!
As for the build-off, Here are the RULES, and here is the Entryinfo.
PROJECTS: Marshal ........................93 Craftsman GT6000 Red Bandit ...................72 Wheel Horse Raider 12 Dirty Rat........................77 Sears Suburban Bowser...........................01 Murray Widebody LT The Green Machine ....1990 Craftsman II GT18 Other projects
I looked them up too, I think they look pretty cool, they look more like an old school jd crossed with a wheelie haus, for sure a good starting point imao!
