Happy new year everyone! Been busy! Took ol Saber for a new years day blast, toured some country roads! About 5 mile ride or so. Just pulled the girlfriends rig into the shop to start on it! It's a lt4000 weedeater. Got a locked spicer 5 speed I built last year, some old parts from saber, including the knobby rear tires. Got a better engine aswell, just a 8hp briggs. But wanted something simple for me and the girlfriend to build for her. Wanted a pullstart for sure, just so I can make a super basic wiring harness, no electric start or lights. Also gonna use the stock throttle on the dash with govener for now. Also using some pullys I have, for a 3.5" front and 3" rear. Mainly will be used for touring back roads and exploring our beautiful prairie back roads here in saskatchewan. This one won't ever see mud or deep water, so the small diameter pullys will be fine! Gonna make a little rack for the back, and maybe a little bumper for her also! Il post as it gets put together. Will also have a paint job of her choice! Took a quick pic today (photo 1). No snow here! Should be riding snowmobiles already but not nearly enough for that sadly
