I solved that bit on paper, for mounting my winch on my 6x6 project. I am going to try it on my DD Murray to see how it works, probably this week. Since a picture speaks 1,000 words:
Basically, you just lift up your hood vertical within the guides, place it on the pivot-divot, and fold it forward as usual.

The front bumper has cause much of my brick wall. Turns out there isn't enough room to drop in my winch, so I may have to rework that.
Forgot to send that part the other day. Guess I was distracted.
Well this happened today. I cut the horizontal pipes out of the braces and I am mocking up my winch for my bumper remake.

My problem is where to store (2) batteries. Considering the weight, over an axle would be best, but, I think we have all seen the damage even non-leaking batteries can cause just by being batteries.

In my case, winch or no winch, I wasn't happy with what I had. That will shut down my creative thinking fast.

@Brianator !
You'll get progress when you have some time!
I had more progress on the bumper myself.
The rod to pull out to drop the bumper is the steering tie rod that originally came with the tractor.

@Crazy_Carl ! Still a work in progress. If I get some time today maybe I can get it finished later today but probably tomorrow. I have an Idea now for the rear bumper. I hope I can get it all figured out.

Glad I kept at it but didn't rush it.
How do you open the hood? Same idea I did with Red Bandit.
Now off to figuring out my ideas for the rear. That one will take a while.
